Sonoma Mountain Village SmartCode

The original Master Plan and Infill SmartCode for this project was designed by Fisher & Hall Urban Design. Lois Fisher was the Director of Design during that time. This neighborhood is being designed on the site of a former Agilent campus.  It is located within the city limits of Rohnert Park in Sonoma County, California, and is an innovative redevelopment of a high tech campus with a focus on creating a pedestrian-friendly and ‘green’ place to live, work, shop and play.  Fisher Town Design is doing continuing work on this project, which will include a village square surrounded by mixed-used buildings (former Agilent buildings), a range of residential building types - cottage courts, single-family homes, live-work, apartments, townhouses and mansions - as well as shops, cafes, a movie theater, parks and civic buildings.  One of the design goals for the project is to become LEED-ND certified.  (LEED-ND is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design - Neighborhood Development.)
